Tasting Profile

Origin Story
Chirinos, Cajamarca, Peru
Finca Churupampa is a forward-thinking coffee farm in Chirinos, Cajamarca, in the northern highlands of Peru. The Tocto brothers took over operations from their parents several years ago and have been transforming the farm into a model for coffee production that is both economically and environmentally sustainable. Their vision reaches well beyond their own land. In addition to growing and selling their own coffee, the Toctos provide export and marketing services for 215 neighboring farmers, giving small producers direct access to international specialty markets they would otherwise struggle to reach. Finca Churupampa is also home to a training center that is open to the entire community, where the brothers work alongside local farmers to improve production practices, raise cup quality, and help break the cycle of poverty that has held the region's coffee families back for generations. Every bag of Churupampa helps fuel that mission.
